Doings expands to three more communities
Hinsdale -- The Doings will add a sixth edition to its newspaper
group Oct. 5, general manager Jim Slonoff said. The LaGrange Doings will
cover LaGrange, LaGrange Park and LaGrange Highlands.
"The communities are very much like the ones we already serve in Cook
and DuPage counties," said Doings editor Pamela Lannom, "and we
believe we will be able to provide the best local coverage for readers of
our new paper."
The Doings' other five editions are Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Oak Brook,
Western Springs and the Weekly Doings that covers Burr Ridge, Willowbrook
and Darien.
Minor revisions sought for NINA bylaws
Several proposed bylaws changes have been posted for members' review
on the NINA Web site.
The changes specify the total number of board members and the executive
board makeup, and also clarify committee roles and assignments.
As required by the NINA constitution, the general membership will vote on
the changes during the Oct. 27 Fall Conference.
